Started as a family-run business in a small garage 

ASAP Tickets was founded at the beginning of the 2000s by Alex Weinstein, who started a small business in South San Francisco, CA. It all began in a garage, where the same person took calls and offered itineraries. The idea of establishing a travel agency came after realizing that many people in the USA don’t speak English and need help to purchase travel products. But of course, this service was also provided in English. From day one, ASAP Tickets was more than a company offering flight tickets from the USA. It has always been more about the additional value and peace of mind customers can get.

In 2004, ASAP Tickets became part of the International Travel Network (ITN), a major international consolidator for travel services. The founder of ASAP Tickets mentions opening the first overseas agent training and IT development center in Europe in 2005 as a crucial point towards success.

A niche market that turned into an international business 

In 2006, ITN became accredited by ARC (Airlines Reporting Corporation) and IATAN (International Airlines Travel Agent Network). This enabled us to issue tickets in-house, giving ASAP Tickets direct access to exclusive contracts and unpublished fares.  

The following year, we continued to make strategic moves to improve ASAP Tickets services and ensure customer satisfaction. The travel agency was BBB-accredited and opened its 2nd training center in Europe, providing 24/7 customer service. By 2009, ASAP Tickets had served over 500,000 customers. We gained more and more direct contracts with airlines, allowing us to provide lower flight prices than those available on the market. The global growth of ASAP Tickets

Continuing to scale linguistically, ASAP Tickets opened more new offices in the Philippines and, in later years, in Colombia, India, Egypt, Uzbekistan, and other locations worldwide. Furthermore, we introduced the ASAP Tickets Español brand to cater to our Spanish-speaking clientele, primarily serving traffic from the USA to Latin America.

As of today, ASAP Tickets agents have 18 offices in 12 countries. Now, ASAP Tickets agents assist customers in more than 20 languages. That way, we were able to cover initially underserved ethnic communities – Spanish, Hindi, Philippino, Arabic, and more. Additionally, we set up new brands to provide flight tickets for travelers in Canada, the UK, and Africa.

From 2014, when we received our first airline reward from Qatar Airways, until today, we have received awards for being top performers in flight ticket sales from China Airlines, Latam Airlines, Eva Air, and Philippine Airlines. In fact, for several consecutive years, ASAP Tickets received awards from Philippine Airlines as a Top Performer. In 2023, when ASAP Tickets received the latest recognition, we were ranked as the 3rd global ticket seller.
