Aurora Province Sees 40% Surge in Holy Week Tourist Arrivals

Aurora Province experienced a significant boost in tourism during the Holy Week break from April 12 to 20, 2025, recording a total of 1,144,376 visitors—a 40% increase compared to the previous year. Of these, 310,739 were overnight tourists, while the remainder were same-day visitors exploring the province’s scenic destinations, religious traditions, and cultural landmarks.
The surge in tourist arrivals underscores Aurora’s growing appeal as a travel destination, attributed to its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and enhanced public safety measures.
Philippine Airlines Launches Direct Manila–Da Nang Flights Starting July 1, 2025

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to enhance connectivity between the Philippines and Vietnam by introducing direct flights from Manila to Da Nang starting July 1, 2025. The service will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays using Airbus A321 aircraft. Flight PR 585 will depart Manila at 11:10 AM and arrive in Da Nang at 12:45 PM, while the return flight, PR 586, will leave Da Nang at 1:35 PM and arrive in Manila at 5:10 PM.
